Memorable Quotes

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

A member of of My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way did an interview about the Projekt Revolution tour. The funny thing about the interview is that Chester wasn’t really apart of the story itself. He was put at the bottom of the article for having the top 10 memorable quotes during the interview:

Top 10 Chester Bennington quotes, in no order:
“We kind of want to be a band that’s kind of ambiguous.”

“We want to put on cool light shows, if we can, and we want to blow shit up.”

“If at the end of the day all we did was plant a bunch of trees, that’s cool with me.”
“I hope that that’s what we go down as, you know, a good rock band. ”

“It’s like super recycled. It’s like even our inks are environmentally friendly.”

“I have quite a few theories on how companies can help their bands achieve greater success and stop just hemorrhaging money, but that’s not part of the question. The reality is I have no idea.”

“There is going to be plenty of information out there and we’ll be giving out some crap, too, that people can take home with them. It’ll be cool.”

“I think people get annoyed when they feel like it’s their responsibility to save the world, even though it kind of is our responsibility.”

“So, if you want to step out there and put your nuts on the line, go for it. We’re all for it.”

Press conference moderator on Bennington: “Did we lose Chester again?”

Members of Linkin Park have contributed artwork to a limited-edition picture-book called “Revolution Unseen: The Hidden Art of Projekt Revolution.”
The 50-page book, which also features artwork from different members of Projekt Revolution, will be available to fans on the group’s Projekt Revolution tour.
What’s more, the book is environmentally friendly, with proceeds going to charity.
Chester Bennington says “All of our records, any paper product is all printed on this new material that is actually, it’s like super-recycled. Even our inks are environmentally friendly, like, everything we do, we’re trying to focus on polluting as little as possible.”
Proceeds from the book will go to the disaster-relief organization Music For Relief.

Linkin Park Bleed It Out Lyrics

[Mike Shinoda]

Yea here we go for the hundredth time,
Hand grenade pins in every line,
Throw ‘em up and let something shine.
Going out of my f**king mind.
Filthy mouth, no excuse.
Find a new place to hang this noose.
String me up from atop these roofs.
Knot it tight so I won’t get loose.
Truth is you can stop and stare,
bled myself out and no one cares.
Dug a trench out, laid down there
With a shovel up out to reach somewhere.
Yeah someone pour it in,
Make it a dirt dance floor again.
Say your prayers and stomp it out,
When they bring that chorus in.

[Chester Bennington]

(Chorus)
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away.

[Mike Shinoda]

I bleed it out.
Go, stop the show.
Choppy words and a sloppy flow.
Shotgun opera, lock and load,
Cock it back and then watch it go.
Mama help me, I’ve been cursed,
Death is rolling in every verse.
Candy paint on his brand new hearse.
Can’t contain him, he knows he works.
F**k this hurts, I won’t lie.
Doesn’t matter how hard I try.
[Bleed It Out lyrics on http://www.metrolyrics.com]

Half the words don’t mean a thing,
And I know that I won’t be satisfied.
So why, try ignoring him.
Make it a dirt dance floor again.
Say your prayers and stomp it out,
When they bring that chorus in.

[Chester Bennington]

(Chorus)
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away.

I bleed it out.
I’ve opened up these scars,
I’ll make you face this.
I pulled myself so far,
I’ll make you face this now.

I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away.

I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away.
I bleed it out,
Digging deeper just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away,
Just to throw it away.

I bleed it out. ( times 3 )
